Hermosa Happenings Week of November 9th

Hermosa Beach is an active and vibrant place to live and work, there are so many things happening every week that it’s hard to keep up with what is going on around you.

The holiday season is fast approaching and we don’t want to miss out on the fantastic and interesting things that are happening. Since the Thanksgiving holiday is just a bit later this year, we have been cheated out of an extra week of shopping, or so it seems. This week in Hermosa Beach we have a variety of things for just about everyone.

Beginning on November 9 and continuing on through November 10th we have the Hermosa Beach Junior Satellite and Novice Tennis Tournament located at the Community Center Tennis Courts. My son Val is playing in the finals of the boy's 10 and under!

Also on November 9th we have the G.I. Joe Pier to Pier Run in Hermosa Beach
and going on the entire week we have How to Read an EIR: A Layperson’s Guide. The Friends of the Library Book Sale is going on this Saturday November 9th as well, this is something that occurs every second Saturday of the month.

Monday November 11th is Veteran’s Day all schools are closed in observance of this holiday, there will be no street sweeping, and City Hall is closed.

Tuesday November 12th the Hermosa Beach City Council Meeting is scheduled.

Wednesday November 13th the Hermosa Beach School District is having a meeting at 7 pm. Don’t forget to come out to the Friday Farmer’s Market.
This is going on every Friday; here you will find some of the best produce, breads, cheeses, flowers, and so much more. This is an intimate, local farmer’s market that offers peak season produce for great prices. It is going on from Noon until 4 pm. Join us, this vibrant city, in all of the exciting and interesting activities that are offered, you will not be disappointed.
